What we Are most Likely to See in Thailand from June 1

So yes, it is likely the Thailand Pass will be dropped, but what does that mean?

Whether unvaccinated or vaccinated, foreigners will still need to apply for a Thailand Pass after June 1. But there are changes that will streamline the process.

After a meeting of the Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) on May 20, Spokesman Taweesilp Visanuyothin announced that,

  • Thailand Pass will be removed for Thai Nationals from June 1.
  • Thailand Pass will still be required for foreign visitors, but they will receive instant approval after submitting the required documents.

Most definitely it means tourists go back to the TM.6 Declaration form and no more Thailand Pass registration.

It is unlikely insurance will be dropped as this is still a big issue in Thailand.
